The Lord Jesus Christ is at work in the life of this precious fellowship of believers! We look forward to some tremendous opportunities God is giving us in the days ahead.
Be praying for our Cuba mission trip scheduled for September 2-9. Pray for our participants: Patrick Inglett, Hobie Benson, Tommy Durrance, Jill Durrance, and Pastor Calvin. We will be doing construction, Vacation Bible School, preaching and testimonies, and sharing the gospel out in visitation. Be praying for God’s hand to rest upon the precious people of Cuba who are hurting in these days.
You don’t want to miss our Missions Celebration scheduled for September 10 at 6:00 PM in the main auditorium. This is a churchwide event. We will have tables set up to highlight missions that have recently taken place to Africa, East Asia, Japan, Indonesia, North Africa, and Cuba. Our children will receive a passport where they can get the signatures of each of our tables to receive a prize when their passport is complete! This will give you an opportunity to bring your kids and participate in this incredible evening together. There will be many surprises and blessings this night. We will have a pulled pork supper for every participant who comes this evening. It will be very very special.
We will participate in the beautiful Lord’s Supper service on Sunday morning, September 10. Don’t miss being a part of this with our church family in the morning service.
We will baptize on Sunday morning, September 17. If you need to be baptized, please contact us in the church office and we will give you the details of what is involved in this glorious service. You don’t want to miss your opportunity to be baptized on the 17th.
NCBC 101 is for all of our new and prospective members. Come for a light breakfast and a luncheon that will be in your honor on this Sunday morning. We meet during the Life Group hour and the church hour. You will hear from staff and learn about the passion of our church. This is designed for you to get involved and take the next step in becoming an involved church member. Don’t miss NCBC 101! Our men have been having a wonderful time gathering for fellowship for men’s breakfasts. We will meet again on September 30. What a great time it will be then!
Be praying for our friends at Foster Florida. What a tremendous ministry this is in loving and ministering to the foster families of our community. We are enabling Foster Florida to host a Financial Peace University course for any foster families in our community. Be praying for these meetings that take place on Sunday afternoons from 3-5pm.
What an opportunity we have to know and love our Savior! Please be praying for God’s hand to rest upon this precious fellowship of believers. It is a joy to preach through the book of Genesis. So much is covered in this glorious book! Please be on the lookout for people who need to hear God’s truth. Invite them to come that Jesus might be glorified as we reach our community.
