Past Events

Families with children – join us on Wednesday, July 17 for a night of waterpark fun! We will meet outside the church from 6 to 7:30pm. We will have waterslides, water games, and more! Preschool and elementary aged children are both welcome!

Join us in the Worship Center on July 3rd from 5pm to 7pm for our Churchwide All American Night! We will have a meal of hotdogs and apple pie, followed by fellowship, games, face painting, and Library Circus! Youth will still have their regularly scheduled service at 6pm.

There will be no events at the church on this night; instead, all of our ministries will be meeting out in the community! We have organized 3 different meeting places for our families with children (two homes and one park), and you get to pick which one to attend! Each meeting location is open to kids of all ages – a Bible story, game/activity, and snack will be provided for children, and a great time of fellowship will be provided…

We are so excited to be hosting our very first Hometown Heroes Night! This event is open to kids and adults of all ages. After our Wednesday Night Meal, we will head out to the church parking lot to meet some very special people – our community’s first responders! Your kids will get to meet police officers, fire fighters, and other emergency personnel, see fire trucks and police cruisers, and learn all about what first responders do here in Gainesville.…

Family Game Night! Meet us in the Worship Center after dinner for a great time of fun and fellowship for all ages! If your family has a favorite board game/table game that you love to play, feel free to bring it with you! And if you don’t – don’t worry! The church will also be providing games. We’ll still be having our regular Wednesday Night Meal at 5pm, so come early and grab a bite to eat as a family!

We’re headed to the trampoline park! 60 spots available for $5 each! Only those jumping need to reserve a spot. We will meet at Defy Gainesville at 6:30pm and will jump from 7 to 8pm! Dinner will still be provided at the church on this night, so grab a bite to eat and then head on over to Defy!
