What a joy it is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ with you! Our North Central family has a passion to take the gospel to our community and even the world. We want to be a disciple making church that sends His disciples into the world with the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Surviving vs Thriving is the theme for DNow weekend, February 10-12. Adam Venters, the BCM Director at the University of South Carolina, will be our special guest speaker. Wow! What a joy to have this young man pour into the lives of our students. He has a passion to live for Jesus and to make Jesus known. I am so grateful and thankful for our youth worker team led by Kayla Hudson and Coley Privette. They have done a fantastic job as they have organized this amazing event. Thank you to all of our host families and workers that will be a part of this weekend. Make sure that you sign up by going to our church website gatorchurch.com. We do not want one of our teenagers or their friends missing the weekend. Invite students who need to know that Christ is real. Invite students who want to build lasting friendships that are centered around their relationship with Christ.
We will be baptizing on Sunday morning February 12. If you need to be baptized following the Lord Jesus in the first act of obedience when following Christ, please contact us at the church office at info@gatorchurch.com.

I want the church family to be aware and to celebrate and pray for our 5 ministry residents. On our world map you can find an explanation of our residency program that we have. We are thankful for Tyler Mingonet, Colin Rhodes, Addam Setzer, Cierra Proudfoot, and Janna Josafat for their heart for the nations and their heart for ministry. They are here in a 2-year residency to gain local church experience in ministry as they reach college students for Christ. Please be in prayer for each of them!
Continue to pray for our staff searches. We are looking for a full-time Youth Pastor and a full-time Children’s Director. God is at work in both of these areas! We’re grateful and thankful for the awesome ministries that God allows us to be a part of and for our staff. Please be praying as we continue to search to fill these positions.
Your Entryway Enhancement Committee is nearing a recommendation to make to the church. Just be praying that God’s perfect plan and will might be done.
It is such a joy to be your Pastor! God has given us a very precious fellowship of believers. We are called to love each other, to serve one another and our community, and to get the gospel to the lost. I’m excited about all that is happening as we study God’s word in Life Groups, worship together, and extend our ministry to the ends of the earth!
Love in Jesus,
Pastor Calvin
