Dear Church Family,
The Harvest Festival Banquet is scheduled for 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 15. What a special time this is. I know that many of you have already signed up to bring a dish to go along with the dinner that evening. If you have not signed up, call the church office and make sure we have you on the list. We are looking forward to hearing from Andrew and Alexa Hudson and John and Molly Wells as they share about the evangelism ministries that they have been involved in. David Champagne will be here to play his trumpet. We will have a special time as we celebrate Thanksgiving together. The Lord has blessed us individually and as a church family. We’re so thankful and grateful for his many blessings upon our precious fellowship.
We will baptize on November 8. Baptism is the public declaration of our faith in Christ. We are to be baptized after we have been saved. If you need to be baptized, call the church office and we will make arrangements for you to be baptized.
I’m writing this article after our Fall Festival on Sunday, November 1. What a wonderful time this was! Thank you, Jenna Rich and our wonderful team of leaders, who prepared games and activities for our students, baked incredible desserts, and set up this special time. It just made the whole day very special. What a joy this event was!
I’m so proud of Micaiah Olive and the job that he is doing with our youth. I know he has been preaching himself and also involving many of our parents in sharing their testimonies with our young people. Our students will never forget these testimonies that they are hearing. Please be in prayer as we continue to seek God’s will as to a full-time Youth Pastor. Our teenagers are getting the very best. And we’re praying that we will always provide that for our students. Thank you, Youth Leadership Team, for the guidance that you are giving to our ministry.
Thank you to Craig Olive for his leadership with our college students. I think we have as many involved in our collegiate ministry as we ever have! And these students are taking the lead in other ministries in our church. We’re so grateful and thankful for them. We love to have fellowship with these special students and I believe that they love to have fellowship with our members. The Lord has done a wonderful thing in North Central in allowing us to have special college students involved in our work.
We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the morning of the 29th. Come prepared as we remember the blessings of Jesus Christ in our lives.
Kelly and I would like to thank you for the recognition that you gave us this past Sunday for Pastor Appreciation Month. We are the most blessed couple in the whole wide world to serve at North Central. I cannot believe that it has been 19 years that we have been privileged to serve here at this special and precious fellowship of believers. North Central has meant so much to both of us in our own spiritual journeys. And to think that we have been able to provide leadership and guidance over these last 19 years has just been a dream come true! Thank you for the gift that you have given us, and also thank each and every one of our members who have reached out personally with cards and expressions of love. We appreciate you so much. May the Lord continue to bless this precious fellowship of believers.
